Return & Defective Product Policy

At Bear Naked Wood, every custom project is handcrafted specifically for each customer. Because of the personalized nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns on custom orders.

Custom Products

All custom-made products, personalized items, workshop projects and made-to-order pieces are final sale.

We cannot accept returns, exchanges or cancellations on custom products. All sales are final.

Defective or Damaged Products

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at sales@bearnakedwood.com.

To be eligible for a defective product return:

1. Contact us as soon as possible after receiving your order.
2. Include your order number, a description of the issue and photographs of the product and packaging.
3. Allow up to 5 business days for our team to review your claim. In some cases, we may need to work with the shipping carrier as part of the review process.

If your claim is approved, we will provide:

• A return shipping label
• Return instructions
• Information regarding the next steps in the process

Items sent back without prior approval and return instructions will not be accepted.

Once the returned item is received, please allow 3-7 business days for inspection and processing. If approved, a replacement, repair or refund will be issued at our discretion.

Terms, Conditions & Policies

At Bear Naked Wood, every custom project is handcrafted and made specifically for each customer. Please review the following policies before placing an order, booking a workshop, or submitting a deposit.

Custom Orders

All custom furniture, décor, live-edge pieces, epoxy projects, and commissioned work are built to order. Because wood is a natural material, variations in grain pattern, color, knots, cracks, texture, and overall appearance are expected and make each piece unique.

Project dimensions, colors, finishes, and materials are approved during the design process. Minor variations may occur due to the handcrafted nature of the work.

Deposits & Payments

Custom projects may require a deposit before work begins. Deposits secure materials, shop time, and project scheduling.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits are non-refundable once materials have been purchased or production has started.

Final payment is due before delivery, pickup, or shipment of completed projects.

Workshop Reservations

Workshop seats are limited and reserved only after a deposit or payment has been received.

Workshop deposits are non-refundable. If circumstances prevent attendance, customers may contact Bear Naked Wood to discuss transferring their reservation to a future workshop when availability allows.

No-shows are not eligible for refunds.

Refund Policy

Because custom projects are built specifically for each customer, completed custom orders are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Refunds will not be issued for:

• Natural wood variations
• Grain patterns
• Knots, cracks, or character markings
• Color differences resulting from natural materials
• Design selections approved by the customer

If a project is damaged during pickup, delivery, or shipment, customers must notify Bear Naked Wood within 48 hours of receipt and provide photos of the damage.

Approved refunds, if applicable, will be processed using the original payment method.

Project Timelines

Estimated completion dates are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. Production schedules may be affected by material availability, curing times, equipment maintenance, weather conditions, shipping delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Pickup & Storage

Customers will be notified when their project is ready for pickup.

Completed projects not picked up within 30 days may be subject to storage fees unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping and delivery fees are separate from project pricing unless otherwise stated.

Bear Naked Wood is not responsible for delays caused by third-party shipping carriers.

Intellectual Property

All designs, photographs, logos, marketing materials, and website content remain the property of Bear Naked Wood and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Bear Naked Wood’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service purchased. Bear Naked Wood shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of any product or service.
