This heavy-duty floating mantel bracket is really STRONG! We offer 1 1/2″ to 2″ tall backplate brackets that are 3/16” inch thick. We also have 3/4” diameter rods, which make it perfect to float really thick floating mantels and shelves from 2 1/2” to 3 1/2” thick.

For Mantels and Floating Shelves, it is best to mount our brackets on Sheetrock. They are designed to be able to hit any and every stud that fall behind the bracket. if you have another material you prefer to put them on, please contact our Customer Service first before purchasing.

Our traditional brackets are between 3″ – 4″ wide brackets that creates the look of a suspended shelf, without the need for heavy-duty support.
